We have partnered with a leading EdTech business that is expanding globally and looking for a Marketing Tech and Data Director (m/f/d), to be based in Hamburg or Berlin. You will provide thought leadership for the marketing and data tech stack as a whole.
You will also:
- Be required to integrate the requirements and views for the Marketing and IT teams and ensure friction is reduced and build a high-performance organisation.
- Own parts of the customer-facing and backend marketing tech stack as well as the respective teams.
- Develop and structure the team set up and integrate across various functions
- Define and ensure compliance with roadmaps for insights, dashboards, and tools.
- Work closely with CoE to enable the use of AI and ML in the marketing processes.
- Coach and develop the team and respective team leads.
You will have:
- Several years experience within a leading role in a tech-driven Marketing, ideally within a VC, Consultancy, or E-Commerce environment
- Have the ability to align teams and collaborate closely across functions from the Marketing to IT through to the Sales and CRM teams and Management.
- Have a strong understanding of Marketing KPI's, data-driven marketing operations, and the execution of web analytics within a constantly evolving environment
- The ability to be highly conversational with IT in terms of tech and data, from CMS to Salesforce to DAM.
- Experience in building tech stacks from scratch
- Strong experience working with BI Tools and data marts - Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
- Eager to work in a fast-paced environment in a fast-growing business.
- Be hands-on
- Fluent in both business English and German.
