The Incident & Recovery Manager is a key role in the Run the Bank Service & Operations team, responsible for operating the process of restoring normal service operation as quickly as possible following an IT service incident, minimizing the adverse impact on business operations and ensuring that agreed levels of service quality are maintained. You'll build and develop the culture of the CIO function as a key member of the IT Production Services Leadership Team and support the development of the CIO culture across TSB.
We would love our Incident & Recovery Manager to have these skills and experience:
-At least 3 years' experience working as an Incident/Major Incident/Recovery Manager within a banking environment
-Previous technical exposure to banking related services (ATM, Mainframe, distributed applications, citrix and payments)
-Ability to create and maintain a culture and vision where colleagues are engaged and inspired to deliver within budget and timelines for their customers
-Ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment with strong planning & organising skills
-Ability to manage technical operations simultaneously and think strategically to evaluate options in the short, medium, and long term
-Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally
-Excellent influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels
