Cloud Operations Manager - Leading Banking Client

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cloud Operations Manager with Financial experience to join a well established consultancy.

Location - London (Remote available)

Type - Contract - Inside IR35

Start date - ASAP

Key skills

• Knowledge of programme and portfolio management fundamentals
• Understanding of risk management fundamentals
• Good knowledge of core financial principles and practices (including Capex vs. Opex, P&L, burn rates, forecasting, etc.)
• Knowledge of the major cloud providers' product offerings (AWS, GCP, Azure, Alicloud)
• Knowledge of Cloud Financial Operations concepts and best practices (Certified FinOps Practitioner)

Essential Skills

• Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to clearly articulate financial messages to senior stakeholders
• Self-motivated, agility in approach and organisational awareness
• Strong analytical background with the ability to proactively create, interrogate, interpret and draw conclusion/clear next steps from a data set
• Ability to perform proactive, insightful and actionable analysis and opportunity identification
• Strong Power Point and Excel skills with the ability to produce meaningful and accurate MI / decks for reporting to senior stakeholders up to and including Exco level
• Ability to understand financial implications of Cloud services and consumption options
• Hands on experience with Cloudability or similar tool
• Experience working within complex, multi layered organisations and delivering at pace
• Experience working in an agile environment
