Client Technology Programme Manager
Start-up fintech vendor requires an experience Client Technology Programme Manager to join a rapidly expanding business that uses AI powered products to disrupt and transform the Trade Finance sector.
Essential skills: Strong technology delivery background within software, (you will almost certainly been a developer in the early part of your career); demonstrable experience in facing off to large enterprise financial services customers; strong senior stakeholder management skills; demonstrable business acumen with the ability to understand a customers business and use the suite of products to enhance the customer experience; strong background in project & programme governance; strong people manager and leader; deep understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
My client has recently completed a substantial level of Series A funding and is moving to the next phase of its extensive growth plans. The company is collection a highly experienced people located in multiple locations globally who subject matter experts within the worlds of finance and technology and have built an extraordinary product that is largely unrivalled within the trade finance world.
The role itself will report into the CIO and would essentially sit as their number 2 taking on a lot of the client facing programme management work and software delivery into a whole of host of large and complex banking organisations. Your focus will be to ensure the technology function understands the client needs and can work closely with client around implementation, delivery, and overall support.
I am looking for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats as the role will change and evolve as the company grows and platform becomes more ingrained across multiple companies needing trade finance. Your role will at the start be a mixture of Sales engineering, client implementation and software delivery.
The ideal candidate will almost certainly be working in a bank or large scale financial services organisation (buy or sell side) or potentially within a small / medium sized technology delivery focused consulting firm or potentially a similar fintech vendor. Perhaps you are tired of the large big banking culture and keen to get involved in something a little different but working within like minded fintech professionals.
