CloudStream are proud to announce our support and commitment to SA Kinderhuis a local Cape Town charity who’s mission is to care for, nurture and develop vulnerable children, in order for them to become balanced, well-adapted and independent adults. The charity provides a loving, happy and secure home for boys and girls of all ages, race groups and denominations.

Being round the corner from CloudStream’s offices, gives our teams  the opportunity for  very real hands on support both physically and via fund raising. Where we can see a real impact being made. The Cape Town Run for Peace was our 1st major outing as a business and a real chance to show our metal! With high fives and a couple of “early morning groans”, the 18th September 2016 marked an early start for 17 “CloudStreamers” running the 10km in the Mother City and raising funds and awareness for the charity.

To add an extra dimension two of our board members flew in from Europe to run with us, although exhausted from travelling (and possibly a few pints the night before), what better way boost morale and drive a little extra competition into the day. With a mix of runners & walkers our office gave a great showing with Joe Entwisle posting the leading time of 44 minutes and surprisingly our directors were not too far behind.

The views of Sea Point and Table Mountain along the run were inspiring as were the people on the side-lines cheered us all on and making us all feel like we were part of a greater battle than just running 10km. We are already planning for next year and hoping to raise even more for SA Kinderhuis.
