Born and bred Capetonian, I graduated in 2011 from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology with a BTech Marketing (Cum Laude) and joined the TechStream Group in October 2014.
Head hunted out of varsity by a Communications Technology company to join their marketing team, my career kicked off in the Tech industry. It was here where I had my first interactions with EarthStream (a division of the TechStream group). Ryan Forbes, MD of TechStream South Africa, quite enjoys telling the story that he found me hand-delivering chocolates to his office – as that was our first interaction, and as they say, the rest is history.
It’s been 4 loyal years, where I have become a key member of the CloudStream team, enjoying every moment of changing people’s lives. Over the last 3 years, I have successfully contributed to the growth of both Tech Start-ups, as well as Global leading Software Vendors and changing individuals’ lives for the better by providing them with outstanding career opportunities across Africa and Middle East. Some key placements include, Regional Director Middle East for a leading UK based Software Vendor, Commercial Director for a well-funded FinTech Start-Up, Country Manager for a global Software Vendor, many Business Development / Sales Directors, as well as Managers, across Africa and Middle East.
I specialise in the Commercial vertical within Tech. These include, but are not limited to, mid-senior to C-level Technical Sales and Marketing, Account & Channel management, Pre-sales and Functional Consultants positions. My real specialism and passion fall within the Software Solutions space, introducing senior level solutions sales experts to this market.
With new business relationships forming continuously, I spend a lot of my time in Johannesburg and Dubai liaising with key clients and candidates at events and tech meet ups.
